SELFFormative Language Assessment System

You can take the SELF test if your school has sent you a connection link and a SELF session code. If this is not the case, contact your language centre to request an individual test.

Access SELF to take the test:
If you are not from one of these institutions, use the link sent to you by your school.

Procedure to Follow

1. Register on your institution's SELF platform.
2. Enter the test session code provided by your institution. If you do not have a code, contact your institution’s designated contact person.
3. Watch the video tutorial on the homepage. This will teach you how to answer the questions, familiarize you with the types of content you will encounter, and allow you to check the stability of your connection and the sound volume.
4. The test takes about one hour to complete. There is no time limit, but the test duration is recorded.
5. At the end of the test, the results will be displayed directly on your screen. You can also download them as a PDF.

Important

• Use a computer; avoid tablets and smartphones.
• Preferably use the Chrome, Firefox, or Safari browsers.
• If for any reason the page becomes unresponsive, refresh it.
• If you are disconnected, the test will resume where you left off upon reconnection.
